Choose which emails you receive, and export or delete your data.

Communication preferences

Manage the emails Licentio sends. Changes take effect right away.

Notification types are emails about activity on your account:

Approval requests — for supervisors, when a supervisee logs an event awaiting your decision.
Approval decisions — for associates, when a supervisor approves or rejects an event you logged.
Credential renewal reminders — 90, 30, and 7 days before a supervisor credential expires, sent to the supervisor and, as a heads-up, to the supervisees they oversee.
Onboarding and lifecycle emails — a welcome, a day-after nudge, a first-week recap, a mid-trial check-in, and a note if your trial lapses.
Weekly log sign-off reminders — for supervisors, a nudge when a supervisee has weeks of approved hours waiting for your weekly log sign-off.
Organization billing notices — for Directors and Finance members, trial-ending reminders, renewal previews, and payment problems for organizations whose billing you manage. Your organization's billing contact is notified either way.
Weekly organization digest — for Directors, Managers, and Auditors, a Monday summary of what needs attention across your team and how the week moved, sent only when there's something to say.

Marketing emails — product announcements and feature updates — can be switched off entirely.

Account-required messages always send, no matter your preferences: sign-in codes, password resets, trial-expiration notices, and policy notices. These aren't marketing; they're how your account stays secure and current.

Your data

The Your data page handles export and deletion:

Download your data — a full JSON copy of everything you've entered: profile, registrations, supervised hours and their edits, supervisory relationships, supervisor credentials, and your audit log.
Delete your account — permanently closes your account, removes your sign-in credentials, cancels any active subscription, and stops all email except one confirmation.

Gotchas

Deleting your account does not erase your supervised-hour log for others. Your event log stays available to anyone who supervised you, so their licensure record isn't broken. If you're an associate leaving Licentio, export your data first — you may need it for your own application.

Turning off notifications can hide time-sensitive prompts. Approval requests and credential-renewal reminders exist to keep hours moving and credentials valid. Switching them off is your choice, but you lose the nudge.

FAQ

Which emails can I turn off? Marketing emails, and the individual notification types. Account-security, trial, and policy messages always send.

What's in my data export? Everything you've entered, including your audit log, as a single JSON file.

If I delete my account, do my supervisees or supervisors lose anything? No. Your event log remains available to those who supervised you so their records stay intact. Your personal sign-in and subscription are removed.
