Hours logs

Download your Detailed Hours Log and Weekly Log, the records that back up your Experience Verification.

Two records on the Reports page, under Your records, itemize your approved hours. Neither is submitted to the BBS on its own; as the page puts it, these are for you and your supervisor, not the board. They're the detail behind your Experience Verification and the documents an auditor or your supervisor will want to see.

Detailed Hours Log

A complete, itemized record of every approved supervised hour, grouped by supervisor, with a signature block in each supervisor's section for them to attest to the hours under their oversight.

Set the scope, then select Download hours log:

  • From and To — the range starts at the BBS six-year window, because the board only credits hours earned in the last six years. Adjust either date.
  • Supervisor and Category — narrow to one supervisor or one kind of activity. Wrapping up with a supervisor? Filter to just them and the dates you worked together.

Above the button, Licentio notes how many hours the range contains and how many of them are creditable under the BBS weekly limits; the log and your Experience Verification print the creditable totals. Those limits count every hour you logged that week across all supervisors and settings, so a filtered view can show a lower total than you expect.

Weekly Log

A week-by-week record of your supervised hours by category, with a place for your supervisor to sign each week. This is the log the BBS expects supervisors to sign weekly and that you keep until you're licensed. It is not the Experience Verification and doesn't replace it.

Set From, To, Supervisor, and Category, then Download weekly log. Above the button, Licentio tells you where sign-off stands: how many weeks are waiting for your supervisor's weekly sign-off, how many signed weeks were reopened because an event in them changed, or that every week with approved hours has been signed. Remind my supervisors sends a nudge for any unsigned weeks (unless your supervisor has turned off weekly sign-off reminders).

Your supervisor signs weeks from their own Weekly sign-off page or from the reminder email. See Weekly log sign-off.

Gotchas

Approved hours only. Both logs include hours your supervisor has approved (or hours under a relationship set to No approval required). Hours still awaiting review don't appear, and neither do hours logged under a supervisor entered by name who hasn't joined Licentio.
  • These aren't your submission. The form you hand to the BBS is the Experience Verification. Keep the logs; don't mail them to the board unless the board asks.
  • Mind the six-year window. Hours older than six years aren't credited, which is why the range starts there.
  • An active subscription is required. If your trial has lapsed, the card says Your hours log needs an active subscription with a link to your subscription page.

FAQ

Why is the creditable total lower than the hours in my log? BBS weekly limits, such as the 40-hour weekly cap and the supervision-unit rules, apply across everything you logged in a week. Hours beyond those limits are in your log but not creditable. See Validation.

My supervisor hasn't signed weeks in months. What do I do? Select Remind my supervisors on the Weekly Log card. The weeks stay open until they sign, and a signed week reopens if an event in it changes.

Which one does my supervisor sign? The Weekly Log is signed week by week from their Weekly sign-off page. The Detailed Hours Log carries a signature block in each supervisor's section, for when you share it with them.
