Licentio

Sign-in and security

Manage your password, linked sign-in methods, and where you're signed in.

The Security page under Settings is where you manage how you get into your account and the devices that are signed in.

Password

Set or update the password you use to sign in. Enter a new password, confirm it, and select Change password. A password needs at least 8 characters, including a letter and a number.

You don't have to use a password at all — you can sign in with a one-time email code every time. A password is only there if you'd rather not wait for an email.

Sign-in methods

This section shows the accounts linked to your Licentio sign-in — Google or Apple — alongside your email code and password. If nothing is linked, it says so.

Active sessions

Sign out of this device ends your session here. Other devices stay signed in until their sessions expire. To sign another device out immediately (a lost or shared computer, say), contact support.

Gotchas

Losing access to your email means losing the easy way in. Because email codes and password resets both go to your inbox, keep your account email one you control. If you're about to lose a school email, change it through support first. See Your profile.
  • A linked Google or Apple account is a sign-in shortcut, not a separate account. They all point at the same Licentio account as long as they share your email.

FAQ

Do I have to set a password? No. You can sign in with a one-time email code every time. A password is optional.

How do I sign out everywhere at once? You can sign out of the device you're on from this page. To force another device to sign out immediately, contact support@licent.io.

I forgot my password. Use Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen. Licentio emails you a code to set a new one. See Create your account.
