Your supervisor dashboard
If you supervise associates, Licentio gives you a focused workspace built around one job: keeping your supervisees' hours reviewed and your own credential current. This page covers what you see and how you get here.
Getting set up as a supervisor
There are two ways you end up with a supervisor workspace:
- An associate invites you. They add your email on their end, and you get an invitation to accept. Once you accept, they appear as your supervisee.
- You sign up as a supervisor. During setup you choose "I'm a supervisor," add your supervisor credential, and share your email so associates can add you.
Either way, your credential is what authorizes you to approve hours. See Your credential.
A third route: an organization invites you. If your clinic or agency uses Licentio as an organization, it can add you with the Supervisor role. Accepting gives you an organization workspace alongside your own; the organization can then propose associates for you to supervise, or connect supervision you already have. See Joining an organization.
What's on your dashboard
Your dashboard greets you and surfaces the two things that need your attention:
- Pending approvals — a count of events waiting for your decision, with Open approval queue to act on them.
- Supervisees — how many active relationships you have and how many hours were logged under you this month, with View supervisees.
Your navigation
A supervisor's workspace centers on supervision rather than logging:
- Supervisees — everyone you oversee, with each one's pending count, recent activity, and Supervision Agreement status. Invitations from associates can also be accepted or declined here.
- Approvals — your review queue. The nav badge shows how many events are waiting.
- Weekly sign-off — the weeks of approved hours waiting for your signature. See Weekly log sign-off.
- Credentials — the licenses that authorize you to supervise.
- Past licensure — your own licensure record, if you hold a completed pathway.
If you belong to an organization
Switching to an organization workspace from the account menu shows a dashboard built for the same job: Your supervisees, with your active relationships and how many sessions are Awaiting your review, plus Review sessions and View supervisees. The sidebar's Supervision section there (Supervisees, Approvals, Weekly sign-off, Credentials) opens the same pages as the Independent workspace, and your one approval queue covers every supervisee, including those connected through the organization. When the organization proposes an associate for you, a Supervision to confirm card appears on that dashboard and on your Supervisees page; select Confirm or Decline. See Workspaces.
Gotchas
- Approving is what makes hours count. Your supervisees' hours sit as pending until you act. A growing approval badge is a growing backlog for the people who depend on you.
- You may wear both hats. If you're also tracking your own hours as an associate, you'll switch between the supervisor view and your personal one. This section covers the supervisor side.
FAQ
How do I become someone's supervisor in Licentio? Either accept the invitation an associate sends you, or sign up as a supervisor and share your email so associates can add you.
Why don't I see logging or progress in my navigation? Because a pure supervisor isn't tracking their own supervised hours. Your workspace is built around reviewing your supervisees' hours and managing your credential.
What's the number on the Approvals nav item? It's how many events are waiting for your review across all your supervisees.
My organization added me. Do I approve differently now? No. Your queue is the same queue. What changes is that the organization can see the sessions logged under supervision it has connected, from the date it disclosed, and it may set the review cadence for supervision it proposes. See Review and approve hours.
