Edit or delete an event

Fix a mistake in a logged event, and understand what changes mean for your record.

Everything you log lands in My events, the full list of supervision events you've recorded. It's where you go to find an entry, correct it, or remove it. You can reach it from your dashboard's recent activity.

Find an event

My events lists every event with its date, duration, category, supervisor, and approval status. To narrow a long list, use the Filter events panel:

  • From and Through dates for a range.
  • Category to show one kind of activity.
  • Supervisor to show hours under one supervisor.

Select Apply to filter, or Clear filters to reset.

Edit an event

Select Edit on any event to open it. The edit form is the same one you used to log it — date, duration, category, format, supervisor, and notes — with your values filled in. Change what you need and select Save changes, or Cancel to leave it untouched.

If the event was already approved, saving a change sends it back for review. Licentio keeps your edit as a new version and returns the event to your supervisor's queue as Awaiting review, so they can approve the updated version. The original approval stays on the earlier version for your records.

Delete an event

Select Delete to remove an event you logged by mistake. Deleting takes the event out of your record and out of your progress totals. It's for genuine errors, not for hiding hours you'd rather not show — your log is meant to be an accurate, complete record of your supervised experience.

Your event history is an auditable record. Edits and deletions are tracked. Change entries because they were wrong, not to reshape the numbers, since the board can ask you to account for your experience.

Gotchas

  • Editing an approved event returns it for review. If your supervisor already approved an event and you change it, that event goes back to Awaiting review and needs their approval again. Near application time, give them a heads-up so the re-approval doesn't hold you up.
  • Fix the event, not the dashboard. If a total looks wrong, the cause is almost always a specific event — wrong category, wrong duration, wrong supervisor. Correct it here and the totals follow.

FAQ

Where is my list of logged events? It's My events, reachable from your dashboard's recent activity. Every event you've logged is there.

Can I edit an event after my supervisor approved it? Yes. Saving a change sends it back to your supervisor as Awaiting review — Licentio keeps your edit as a new version and asks them to approve it again. The original approval is preserved on the earlier version. If you're close to applying, tell your supervisor so the re-approval is quick.

I deleted an event by accident. Log it again from Log hours. If you're missing details, your notes or your supervisor can help you reconstruct it.
