Weekly log sign-off

Sign the weeks of approved hours your supervisees keep for their BBS records, from your Weekly sign-off page or the reminder email.

The BBS expects supervisors to sign a weekly log of each supervisee's hours as the weeks go by. Licentio builds those weeks from the hours you've approved and gives you one place to sign them: Weekly sign-off in the sidebar. Your supervisees keep the signed log for their records; it's not the Experience Verification and doesn't replace it.

Sign weeks

Open Weekly sign-off. Each supervisee with unsigned weeks gets a table, Weeks awaiting your signature for Name, with one row per week: Week of, then the hours of Ind / triadic, Group, Clinical, Non-clinical, and Total, and the workplace or setting the week was logged under (or No specific setting). A week that was signed before and changed is marked Reopened.

  1. Tick the weeks to sign, or Select all.
  2. Under Sign the selected weeks, enter Your full name as it appears on your license.
  3. Tick the attestation ("I attest that I supervised the hours in the selected weeks and that they are accurate to the best of my knowledge") and the electronic-signature consent.
  4. Select Sign selected weeks.

When nothing is waiting, the page says No weeks are waiting for your sign-off right now.

Sign from the reminder email

Licentio emails you when a supervisee has weeks of approved hours waiting, and your supervisees can nudge you with Remind my supervisors from their Reports page. The email's link opens a signing page where you select the weeks and sign without signing in. See Approving and signing from email. You can switch these reminders off under Weekly log sign-off reminders in your communication preferences; your supervisees see that you have, and the weeks still wait for you in the app.

Gotchas

A signed week reopens if an event in it changes. If a supervisee edits or adds an event in a week you've signed, that week comes back to your queue marked Reopened. That's correct behavior: your signature covers the hours as they stood when you signed. Re-sign it.
  • You sign approved hours. Events still awaiting your review aren't in any week yet. Clear your approval queue first, then sign.
  • Changing a supervisee's approval workflow reopens their signed weeks. Switching the review mode on a relationship invalidates weeks you've already signed under it, so they come back for a fresh signature.
  • Weekly means weekly. The board expects the log signed as the weeks go by. A growing queue shows up on your supervisees' Reports pages, and to their organization if they belong to one.

FAQ

What exactly am I signing? That you supervised the hours in the selected weeks and that they're accurate to the best of your knowledge. Your typed name is your electronic signature.

Is this the Experience Verification? No. The weekly log is a record your supervisee retains until they're licensed. The Experience Verification is the official form you sign separately when they apply. See Experience Verification.

Can my supervisee see whether I've signed? Yes. Their Reports page shows how many weeks are waiting for your sign-off, and their Weekly Log download carries your signature on each signed week.
