Licentio

Create your account

Sign up for Licentio and sign back in, with or without a password.

You can create a Licentio account in a couple of minutes. Pick the sign-in method that suits you now; you can use a different one later, as long as it points at the same email address.

Go to the create account page and choose how you want to sign in:

  1. Continue with Google or Continue with Apple. Licentio only reads your name and email from these. This is the fastest route, and there's no password to remember.
  2. Email address. Enter your email and select Create account. Licentio emails you a verification code. This route is passwordless by default.

Prefer a password? Select Create account with a password instead, then add your full name and a password. A password needs at least 8 characters, including one letter and one number.

Verify your email

If you signed up with an email address, the next screen is Check your email. Enter the verification code Licentio sent you and select Verify code. If you open the email on the same device, the link fills in the code for you; select Confirm to finish.

Verification codes expire, and requesting a new code retires the older one. If you asked for a second code, use the most recent email.

Agree and continue

Before your account is created, Licentio shows a short Before you continue step to accept the Terms of Service and a disclosure about how supervised events are shared with your supervisor. Select Agree and continue.

From here you move into setup. See Set up your pathway.

Sign in later

At sign in, the default is passwordless: enter your email and select Send sign-in code, then enter the code from your inbox.

  • To use a password instead, select Sign in with a password instead.
  • Forgot your password? Select Forgot your password? and Licentio emails you a code to set a new one.
  • Signed up with Google or Apple? Use the same button to sign back in.

Gotchas

Use the same email and method every time. Google, Apple, and email sign-in all resolve to one account only when they share an email address. Signing up with your personal Gmail and later trying an email code sent to your work address creates confusion about which account holds your hours.
  • Codes are single-use and time-limited. If a code doesn't work, request a new one and use the newest email. Older codes stop working the moment you resend.
  • Pick an email you'll keep. Your licensure record can span years. Use an address you'll still control at application time, not a school address that gets deactivated after graduation.
  • Repeated attempts get rate-limited. If you see a "too many attempts" message, wait the number of seconds shown before trying again.

FAQ

Do I need a password? No. You can use a one-time email code every time you sign in. A password is optional and only useful if you'd rather not wait for an email.

I didn't get my code. Check your spam folder first. Then select Resend. Because a new code retires the previous one, always use the most recent email.

Can I change my sign-in method later? Yes. You can add or change a password from Settings. See Sign-in and security.

I already have an account. If you try to create an account with an email that's already registered, Licentio tells you and points you to sign in instead.
